Making an
impact with music medicine

Jeralyn Glass is a passionate performer and teacher. She seeks out, encourages and supports young artistic talent, creating a learning environment based on teamwork, respect, creativity and self discovery. In 2006, following her deep desire to serve a wider community through music, she created and founded kids4kids World Foundation, a charitable organization in Munich, Germany where she was living and enjoying a successful career as an Opera Singer and professor.

Through performances and donations, kids4kids world foundation raised over $30,000 annually from 2006-2015 for Music Therapy programs. Children dealing with trauma, abuse, loss, illness, immigrant challenges, and emotional instability have benefitted from the Music Therapy offered privately and in small groups funded by the kids4kids World Foundation. 

We have created The Dylan Sage Scholarship and The Laboratory for the Science of Music, Health, and Wellness at the Minerva University in San Francisco. Minerva has been ranked #1 in the World University Rankings for Innovation for three consecutive years.

It serves the most globally diverse population of undergraduate students in the world and those students live and learn on four continents in four years. Their president Mike Magee has been my true partner in this effort, as has Dr. Daniel J. Levitin, an Emeritus Dean at Minerva, adviser to President Magee, and one of the world's foremost authorities on music and neuroscience. 

Our goal is ambitious: to clarify the role music and sound play in making each of us healthy and well and in making the world peaceful; and to help people all over the world to adopt practices that help them and all of us. 

As the largest professionally led nonprofit network of cancer support worldwide, The Cancer Support Community has an important mission: ‘To ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community – So that no one faces cancer alone.’

Professor Jeralyn Glass has been offering her popular meditation with Crystal Alchemy Singing bowls since 2016 at the Cancer Support Community South Bay, California where over 200 programs a month are offered completely free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Sound Healing is currently one of the most requested therapies.

Cambodia Sings is a non-profit organization that offers music to young Cambodian students as a way to heal their trauma. Jeralyn offered her singing wisdom with students of different age groups from 4 to 25 and trained their singing teachers her Whole Person Awareness Technique of healthy vocalism.

Their motto is “When people sing together, magic happens — forming community, bridging differences, awakening creativity and give each of us the courage to bring our voice more fully into the world.”
