Crystal bowls are made in the USA from pure crushed quartz, precious gems and minerals. They are available in a variety of sizes from 6″ Advanced Alchemy to the Classic Quartz up to 24″ diameters. The bowls emit a powerful, pure resonance. The larger bowls are more reverberant with longer lingering tones.
The size of the bowl does not necessarily determine its note. Each bowl is tested with digital technology to determine its sound. The notes C, D, E, F, G, A and B correspond with one’s energy centers, or chakras. Some bowls harmonize with other bowls, and when played simultaneously, the effect is exquisite and synergistic.
The 5″-7″ bowls are high octave bowls and resonate above the body. They are for acceleration. The 7″-9″ bowls are mid-octave bowls and resonate in the body. They are centering. The 10″-12″ lower octave bowls resonate below the body and promote grounding. We can also use an harmonic 5th for balancing by using C and G pitched bowls with D and A pitched bowls.
